Hydraseeding is the specialised technique, pioneered in Britain by Hydraseeders Limited, by which seed and fertilisers in a specific formulation are combined with mulches, binders and stabilisers and applied to a wide range of terrains, with or without topsoil.

The advantages of hydraseeding over conventional seeding methods are:
- Hydraseeding allows access to be gained to almost any location which others may find impossible to reach.
- Application of hydraulic seeding means speed is greater. Formulas can be altered in order to vegetate almost all ground types, as long as they are not polluted.
- Hydraseeding allows better establishment of wild flowers, particularly when seeding onto subsoil substrates.
- Hydraseeding helps to overcome problems of climate change associated with temporary periods of drought or flash floods.
- We can apply stabilisers to reduce soil disturbance and mulch to reduce moisture loss.
